Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Data Engineer, Senior to design, implement, and secure Salesforce solutions in a regulated federal environment. You will own data migration, ETL, APIs, and data governance across complex platforms, collaborating with security/compliance teams.

Requires U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance; onsite in the Greater Washington, DC area. Competitive compensation and full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least five years of hands-on Salesforce Developer experience.
• Strong skills in Apex, LWC, Lightning, and Salesforce configuration (Flows, security model, approvals).
• Experience designing and consuming APIs and building integrations.
• Experience supporting data migration efforts (data mapping, loads, validation/reconciliation).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active TS/SCI clearance.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and implement enhancements that improve platform performance, security, and user experience.
• Support and leads Salesforce data migration efforts by extracting, cleansing, transforming, validating, and loading data while ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Develop ETL processes, SQL queries, and automation scripts to support data mapping, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and successful Salesforce deployments.
• Design and develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, and declarative tools (Flows, validation rules, approval processes).
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand and document requirements and compile structured and unstructured data in the cloud, ensuring its quality, accuracy, and reasonableness.
