Job summary

ALSAC, supporting St. Jude, seeks a senior software engineer to lead design, development, and integration of enterprise applications. You will mentor engineers, drive technical initiatives across front-end, back-end, and data layers, and ensure secure, scalable solutions in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

You’ll partner with analysts and customers to shape data-driven customer insights, leverage Salesforce Data Cloud, and deliver resilient services across the organization.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of current application development techniques and OO/client-server tech.
• Professional experience across front-end, back-end, data, and database layers.
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across multi-system changes and milestones.
• Lead and execute cross-system technical initiatives and code reviews.
• Mentor Software Engineers I and II in problem solving, data analysis, and SDLC practices.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders to support app enhancements and services.
• Stay current with emerging tools and technologies to improve applications.
• Collaborate with business analysts and customers to plan future tech needs.
• Work with users to understand system usage and identify enhancements.
• Develop, test, document, and maintain complex application programs.
• Guide team throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
