Job summary

Techgene Solutions in Boston, MA is seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect/Developer for a 12+ month in-person engagement (2 days per week on-site required). The role focuses on designing, building, and deploying custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and APIs to meet complex business needs.

You will lead integrations, govern data quality, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with analysts and project managers to align Salesforce efforts with business

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Salesforce Architecture and Development
• 5+ years designing complex Salesforce integrations
• 2+ years Salesforce Administration
• Experience with Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and APIs

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and APIs.
• Develop a technical roadmap to replace or enhance current systems.
• Customize Salesforce with workflows, triggers, and validation rules.
• Integrate Salesforce with internal/external systems via REST/SOAP/API and middleware.
• Admin duties: user management, security, data management, automation.
• Manage environments: sandbox, deployments, version control.
• Monitor data integrity, conduct data audits, manage imports/exports.
• Collaborate with analysts, PMs, and other developers on Salesforce solutions.
• Provide mentorship to junior developers and admins.
• Stay updated with Salesforce upgrades and best practices.
• Create and maintain documentation for development and admin activities.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Salesforce users.
