Job summary

State of Colorado's Governor’s Office of Information Technology is seeking a Senior Technical Architect (Salesforce) to serve as the primary technical authority and platform strategist across the Salesforce ecosystem. You will guide architecture decisions, define standards, and align technical strategy with agency missions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in information technology, software engineering, or cloud architecture, with at least five (5) years of dedicated experience architecting complex enterprise Salesforce platform solutions across multi-org landscapes.
• Experience architecting across multi-org Salesforce deployments.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security governance.
• Ability to translate complex program mandates into viable technical architectures and align with agency objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the strategic architectural roadmap for the Salesforce ecosystem across multi-tenant orgs.
• Define core deployment patterns, data models, integration frameworks, and technical standards.
• Evaluate out-of-the-box Salesforce capabilities vs custom Apex/LWC development to maximize standard feature reuse.
• Guide cloud platform migrations and modernizations while enforcing security governance.
• Collaborate with agency leadership to translate mandates into scalable architectures and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Lead ARB reviews, establish governance policies, and manage technical debt across orgs.
• Establish automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous deployment practices.
