CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking a Sales Tax Consulting Senior to join our State & Local Tax practice. The role focuses on multistate sales and use tax issues, compliance engagements, and delivering integrated SALT solutions.

You will mentor associates, collaborate across CLA service lines, and leverage technology for efficient client service. A CPA-eligible background and 2+ years of experience are preferred in this dynamic national firm.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience required.
• CPA eligible preferred.
• Experience in business consulting or services preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Research and advise on multistate sales and use tax issues, including nexus, taxability, and exemptions to minimize client exposure.
• Lead and support compliance engagements - return preparation, voluntary disclosure agreements, and audit defense across multiple jurisdictions.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and communicate actionable insights to clients in clear, business-friendly language.
• Manage engagements from scoping through delivery, with increasing ownership of timelines, budgets, and client relationships.
• Partner across CLA service lines - income tax, property tax, credits & incentives - to deliver integrated solutions.
• Leverage technology and automation to drive efficiency, accuracy, and a best-in-class client experience.
• Grow your expertise through CLA's SALT training programs, hands-on client work, and exposure to complex multistate issues.
• Mentor associates and interns, helping build a high-performing, collaborative SALT team.

The compensation range for this position inCaliforniais: $84,400.00 - $143,000.00

The compensation range for this position inMinnesotais: $71,800.00 - $124,000.00
