EisnerAmper seeks a sales tax professional to join its SALT team in a hybrid work environment. You will manage the sales tax compliance process for clients, oversee staff, and liaise with state and local tax authorities. A Bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of sales tax experience are required.

You will collaborate across teams to resolve issues and ensure accurate tax filings, registrations, and licenses for clients, contributing to high-quality service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with sales tax compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent field.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Experience with sales tax preparation software such as Vertex or Alteryx.
• Understanding of sales tax issues, including exemption certificates, tax accruals and reserves, journal entries and use tax issues.

Responsabilités

• Managing sales tax compliance process for clients sales tax returns on the state and local tax (SALT) team (SUT).
• Managing information and people related to sales tax compliance
• Interacting with clients and managing staff
• Corresponding with state and local tax authorities to resolve client issues
• Managing registrations and business licenses for clients
• Interacting with other state and local tax professionals as well as other professionals at the firm
