Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with sales tax compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent field.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Experience with sales tax preparation software such as Vertex or Alteryx.
• Understanding of sales tax issues, including exemption certificate management, tax accruals and reserves, journal entries and use tax issue.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales tax compliance process for clients on the SALT team (SUT).
• Manage information and people related to sales tax compliance.
• Interact with clients and manage staff.
• Correspond with state and local tax authorities to resolve client issues.
• Manage registrations and business licenses for clients.
• Interact with other state and local tax professionals and firm colleagues.
