Job summary

EisnerAmper is a leading accounting and advisory firm seeking a Sales Tax Specialist to manage our clients’ SALT compliance processes, including returns and related activities. You will interact with clients, staff, and state/local tax authorities to ensure accurate filings and timely resolutions.

We seek 2+ years of SALT experience, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Experience with SALT compliance processes and software.
• Understanding of sales tax issues, including exemption certificates and tax accruals.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales tax compliance process for clients’ SALT team (SUT).
• Coordinate information and people related to sales tax compliance.
• Interact with clients and manage staff.
• Correspond with state/local tax authorities to resolve client issues.
• Manage registrations and business licenses for clients.
• Collaborate with other state/local tax professionals and firm teams.
