Role Overview

The Senior Sales Strategy Analyst will be a key partner in shaping GitLab's go-to-market strategy, focusing on optimizing sales effectiveness and accelerating revenue growth. The role involves analyzing complex sales data, collaborating with sales leadership and cross-functional teams, mainly supporting the Americas direct sales and WW Solution Architect organizations.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales and Solutions Architect Leadership.
  • Partner with Sales, SA, Marketing, Ecosystem, Finance, and Product teams on go-to-market strategies.
  • Support sales teams with territory planning, resource alignment, and quota setting.
  • Collaborate on sales management processes like forecasting, QBRs, and pipeline analysis.
  • Conduct detailed analyses and communicate results clearly.
  • Maintain dashboards to monitor KPIs.
  • Create presentations for internal sales events.
  • Identify operational efficiency improvements.
  • Manage initiatives from conception to execution.
  • Stay informed about the competitive landscape.
Qualifications
  • Progressive experience in an analytical role within a tech company, preferably in Sales Strategy or Business Intelligence/Analytics.
  • Experience working with sales teams analyzing performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Salesforce, and Tableau.
  • Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and curiosity to uncover insights.
  • Alignment with GitLab’s values.
  • Management consulting experience is a plus but not required.

Additional Information
