Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales objectives by providing independent sales coverage of assigned market segments and driving identification, prospecting, and creation of new sales opportunities.
- Acquire new business with local, regional, and global key accounts. Responsible for new business development, effectively communicating customer needs, and resolving customer issues. Support intercompany customer issue resolution and ensure division sales understand customer/key account expectations.
- Follow up on migration business and maintain strong connections with global key account leaders.
- Lead spec-in activities and leverage networks to drive growth for J-OEMs, China/Taiwan OEMs, and Asian OEMs.
- Serve as key window contact internally and externally for assigned customers (Amazon, IoT, Appliances, J-OEMs). Collaborate closely with the sales team regarding key accounts and customer requirements.
- Conduct daily sales visits to enhance customer touchpoints and coverage.
- Develop a regional strategy for key account growth, including customer growth, account analysis, planning, opportunity identification, and value communication.
- Support other sales team members in developing and executing account growth strategies and planning for Japanese and Korean customers.
- Negotiate business terms and aspects with global/regional account managers, developing strategies to pursue opportunities at strategic customers/accounts.
- Manage projects and build networks with key stakeholders for spec-in activities.
- Create a sales plan to strengthen relationships with end users, accounts, and distributors.
- Forecast sales to identify trends and capitalize on proactive selling solutions.
- Coordinate with technical and sales teams for product launches and key product activities.
- Support marketing activities such as VOCs, VOMs, workshops, customer days, tradeshows, seminars, and surveys.
Required Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Polymer or Chemical fields.
- Fluent in Mandarin; Korean language skills are an advantage.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- 3-5 years of field sales experience in related market segments, with experience in adhesives and tapes being advantageous.
- Experience in spec-in processes, BOM building, and working with industrial segments in China/Taiwan OEMs and J-OEMs.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with distributors, decision-makers, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.
- Proven account management and leadership skills, including coaching and supervisory abilities.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to diverse market segments.
