Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Sales/Business Development Executive to grow strategic relationships with Tier‑1 and Tier‑2 CSPs and mobile network operators across North America. You will lead go-to-market strategies and shape coordinated account plans to expand Capgemini Engineering’s footprint through consultative, value‑based selling.

Role requires 10+ years in CSP sales, a track record of revenue growth, and the ability to engage CXO-level stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of proven success in business development or sales within the CSP domain.
  • Experience engaging with senior executives and decision-makers.
  • Strong understanding of CSP ecosystems and carrier-grade solutions.

  • Develop and execute account strategies and sales plans tailored to large North American CSPs and mobile network operators.
  • Drive new business growth by positioning Capgemini Engineering’s capabilities through consultative and value-based selling.
  • Build and expand long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders, including CXO, VP, and Director-level executives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by aligning Capgemini Engineering solutions with client business objectives, technology roadmaps, and industry trends.
  • Identify, qualify, and progress new opportunities through account mining, market research, and competitive analysis.
  • Lead client engagements including executive presentations, proposals, negotiations, and thought-leadership discussions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal delivery, solution, and engineering teams to ensure successful pursuits, execution excellence, and client satisfaction.

Your Role

Your Skills and Experience
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field, with 10+ years of proven success in business development or sales within the CSP domain.
  • A strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a complex, technical, or engineering‑led sales environment.
  • Deep understanding of mobile network operators, telecom infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives across the CSP landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and build credibility with senior executives and key decision‑makers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive‑level presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly.
  • Experience selling or delivering solutions involving emerging technologies such as AI/ML, GenAI, OSS/BSS modernization, Private Networks, Fixed Wireless Access, Open RAN, cloud‑native architectures, or enterprise telecom solutions.
  • High‑energy, results‑driven mindset with a strong “go‑getter” attitude and a relentless passion for winning and growing accounts.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: ( $101,000 - $250,000)

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
