Job summary

Daikin Comfort Technologies Manufacturing, L.P. is seeking a Sales Planning Manager to join our Sales Planning organization at the Daikin Texas Technology Park in Waller, TX.

The role focuses on collecting, analyzing, and reporting sales data to increase productivity and forecast demand by product class and SKU. The candidate will develop standardized tools, perform regression and probability modeling, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize product flow and planning accuracy.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in quantitative business analysis, forecasting and production planning
• Experience in finance and cost accounting
• Knowledge of SQL, Excel, VBA, and relational databases

Responsibilities

• Create aggregate monthly sales forecast by model for assigned product class
• Prepare monthly inventory plan by model for assigned product class
• Forecast sales demand by product class and SKU
• Prepare monthly inventory plan by SKU
• Prepare and compile sales/margin reports related to assigned product class or requested business unit data
• Maintain distribution warehouse inventory levels based on established lead times while managing within approved budget
• Maintain working relationships with cross-functional teams to optimize efficiency and ensure smooth product flow to the customer
• Manage phase-in and phase-out of new product introductions and transitions
• Analyze large amounts of sales and inventory data to support production decisions at the SKU level
• Communicate across all business disciplines both verbally and written
