Job summary

Daikin Comfort Technologies Manufacturing, L.P. seeks a Sales Planning Manager to optimize sales forecasting and inventory planning, collaborating with sales, finance, and supply chain to drive profitability at the Daikin Texas Technology Park in Waller, Texas.

The ideal candidate will lead advanced forecasting models, KPIs, and BI tools, guiding data-driven decisions while mentoring analysts and partnering with executive leadership to shape strategic plans and annual budgets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in quantitative business analysis, sales forecasting, production planning, or FP&A.
• Experience with forecasting, inventory planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong proficiency in Excel/SQL and BI tools with data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of sophisticated sales forecasting models across regions and channels.
• Design and optimize inventory planning strategies to minimize costs.
• Drive strategic sales planning initiatives and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
• Develop and track KPIs to enhance business understanding and decision-making.
• Partner with executive leadership to present insights and influence planning decisions.
• Provide advanced data analysis and predictive analytics to support initiatives.
• Oversee phase‑in/phase‑out of new product introductions.
• Mentor junior analysts and support team development.
