Job summary

VIAVI Solutions Inc. is seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to optimize sales processes, manage operational tasks, and ensure data accuracy to drive efficiency and revenue growth across global teams.

You will administer CRM systems, support onboarding and enablement, and collaborate with finance and legal to streamline quotes, contracts, and reporting. A strong data mindset and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in sales operations within a technology company
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Preferred experience with CRM systems (e.g., MSD) and sales enablement platforms (e.g., Highspot, Seismic)
• Willingness to travel internationally as required (up to 25%)

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the CRM system (e.g., MSD) for sales ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Support onboarding, enablement, and ongoing operational support, including resource distribution
• Review and oversee quotes and assist with contract management to ensure timely and accurate execution
• Generate and analyze sales reports, dashboards, and KPIs to identify trends and provide actionable insights
• Collaborate with sales, finance, and legal teams to resolve operational issues and improve cross-functional workflows
• Develop and document sales operations processes, policies, and best practices
• Provide training and support to sales teams and channel partners on sales tools and operational procedures
• Participate in special projects related to sales process improvement and system enhancements
• Perform weekly monthly and quarterly reports for the sales team
