Job Description - Senior Sales Manager - The Inn at Penn, a Hilton Hotel (HOT0BLP3)
Work Locations

The Inn at Penn is looking for a dynamic Senior Sales Manager to secure groups and conventions by building and establishing relationships with customers. Located on the University of Pennsylvania campus, across from The Wharton School, near Drexel University, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and just 11 minutes from City Hall.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of hotel sales experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

What will I be doing?

  • Research, solicit, and generate new leads for group opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts.
  • Represent the hotel in developing market segments and new customer relationships, maintaining existing accounts.
  • Develop business strategies based on hotel and market trends, implementing marketing initiatives to maximize revenue.

This role requires strong sales, communication, and networking skills, with a deep understanding of customer needs and a disciplined approach to secure revenue.

  • Customer and Account Management: Create customer value, differentiate Hilton, and strengthen client relationships.
  • Prospecting: Identify potential customers, plan calls, and execute outreach.
  • Negotiations: Understand client expectations, adapt to market changes, and negotiate contracts.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum two years of hotel sales experience
  • Ability to travel on short notice and adapt to schedule changes
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
