Job summary

Flowserve is seeking an experienced West-Midwest Sales Manager to lead commercial execution, channel distribution, and revenue growth across a $50M+ portfolio of valves and automation products.

You will supervise 6 Sales Engineers, drive regional bookings, and align with distributors and end users in chemical, refining, power, mining, and aerospace sectors. Travel ~50% is required to cover the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with extensive industry experience in industrial flow control is required.
• 7+ years of progressive sales experience in industrial flow control, focusing on isolation/ control valves or valve actuation.
• 3+ years of direct people management leading outside sales teams or equivalent.
• Proven success in growing distribution networks, channel partners, and manufacturer reps.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6 territory Sales Engineers to achieve regional booking and revenue targets.
• Formulate and execute regional distribution strategies and annual business plans with channel partners.
• Drive specification capture and sales for Flowserve’s valve portfolio across end-user facilities.
• Collaborate with sales engineers and distributors on high-impact opportunities in key sectors.
• Coordinate with factory operations, QRCs, and product management to resolve escalations.
• Maintain monthly/quarterly forecasting and provide performance updates to senior leadership.
