Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Senior Manager – Insights & Analytics in New Jersey to partner with Commercial leaders and drive data‑driven strategies. You will analyze market dynamics, surfaces insights, and guide planning and execution across brands and launches.

The role requires advanced analytics, strong communication with senior executives, and solid experience with pharmaceutical data; travel 20-30% is expected, with a focus on delivering high-quality insights to shape patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• 7+ years insights and analytics experience; 5+ years customer facing/field ops preferred
• Pharmaceutical analytics/consulting experience preferred
• Advanced analytics and data visualization skills (R, SAS, Tableau, Qlik) preferred
• Experience with pharmaceutical data (Xponent, PlanTrak, LAAD, Chargeback) preferred
• Strong curiosity, initiative, and problem-solving ability
• Six sigma or project management skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Establish strategic business partnerships with Commercial Lead and directors
• Analyze market dynamics and generate insights to guide strategy
• Produce local market insights to inform commercial plans and tactics
• Collaborate with leaders to plan and execute initiatives based on insights
• Conduct deep-dives to identify root causes and opportunities
• Provide guidance to support brands and launch plans
