Who are we?


Digital Theatre helps educators develop college-, career-, and life-ready students through theatre-based learning experiences. Our digital learning resources are used by thousands of schools, colleges, and universities in over 80 countries. We are passionate about bringing live performance and performance-based learning experiences to every classroom and student, regardless of location or financial circumstance.

This is a fully remote position for candidates based in Illinois, US, with occasional opportunities for in-person meetings. Successful candidates will have the chance to travel to the UK during onboarding to learn from our UK-based team and set up for success.

Only applicants based in Illinois will be considered.

The role

As a Senior Sales Executive, you will lead in driving new business across your assigned territory, engaging middle and high schools in problem-first, consultative discussions that align with our solutions. You will also support the development of junior sellers through training, coaching, and sharing market intelligence.

Responsibilities include:
  • Developing and executing territory sales plans to engage and acquire new subscribers.
  • Engaging prospects in consultative discussions demonstrating efficiency and pace.
  • Delivering sales over the phone in a high-volume environment.
  • Managing the sales cycle from cold call to close.
  • Building relationships with academic decision-makers.
  • Understanding customer needs and trends.
  • Delivering persuasive remote sales presentations and demos.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sharing best practices and market insights with peers.
  • Leading discussions on sales objections and strategies.
  • Contributing to sales training and supporting team performance.
  • Modeling high-performance selling behaviors.
Qualifications:
  • Proven success in high-volume inside sales with exceeding quota.
  • Deep knowledge of consultative selling and questioning techniques.
  • Strong communication and trust-building skills with educators.
  • Collaborative mindset and interest in mentoring.
  • Experience selling to K–12 or in education tech (preferred).
  • Data-driven with CRM experience (HubSpot preferred).
  • Passion for sales excellence and collaboration.
  • Support for making arts accessible to students and teachers.
