Senior Solution Sales Executive – Finance & Spend Management - Midwest

What you'll do:

The Solution Sales Executive (SSE) partners with the end-to-end account owner to drive solution-specific sales, focusing on SAP’s Procurement and oCFO products. The candidate should have domain expertise to address challenges faced by CFOs and Chief Procurement Officers, formulating and presenting Points of View to stakeholders, and leveraging resources to solve customer problems related to SAP’s oCFO and Procurement solutions (Finance, Spend and Supplier Management, Working Capital Management, GRC, and QTC Solutions).

What You Will Do:
  • Generate demand, manage pipeline, and close opportunities
  • Develop opportunity plans with compelling solution value propositions
  • Conduct White Space analysis to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with the wider account team on sales campaigns
  • Manage customer relationships at the solution area/buying center level
  • Advance opportunities for cloud migration, account expansion, or new solution area adoption
  • Utilize deep knowledge of business operations, models, strategies, and processes
  • Stay informed about SAP’s competition and value drivers
  • Leverage SAP’s expert teams and industry knowledge to meet customer needs
  • Build customer participation in SAP communities, programs, and events
  • Facilitate collaboration with the partner ecosystem
What you bring:
  • Proven sales success in business application software with quota overachievement
  • 3–5 years of experience in selling business software/IT solutions
  • Deep understanding of SAP solutions and innovations
  • Broad knowledge of SAP’s portfolio and related business processes
  • Established relationships with account teams, CBO teams, and geo leaders
  • Experience with large transactions and challenging sales pursuits
  • Strong contractual and negotiation skills
  • Experience in driving renewals, expansions, and upsells of subscription or license solutions
  • Knowledge of financial, regulatory, and competitive environments

  • This role is for the Finance and Spend Management team in the Midwest, reporting to the VP of Sales.

  • Experience in subscription-based sales and selling to Procurement and/or Finance is desirable

Compensation Range Transparency

SAP values pay transparency, providing an annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentives. For this role, the range is $186,600 - $397,300 USD, with actual offers dependent on education, skills, experience, role scope, and location. Incentives are performance-based.
