Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join the Majors Account team. This remote role based in Missouri will architect solutions, guide AI-enabled sales processes, and support large enterprise engagements.

You will work with customers to address critical pain points and drive secure digital transformations. Ideal candidates have 5–8+ years in sales engineering or systems integration, strong network security knowledge, and proven success with major accounts, all while leveraging AI tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 to 8+ years of Sales Engineer or Systems Integrator experience.
• Knowledge of network security technologies.
• Demonstrate AI fluency using LLMs, automation, and Generative AI tools.
• Experience with large enterprise and major accounts.

Responsibilities

• Architect technical solutions that directly address and resolve critical customer pain points.
• Oversee the technical sales process from qualification to close.
• Act as Consultative AI Advisor guiding customers through AI change management.

We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our Majors Account team. This is a remote role based in Missouri, reporting to the Sales Engineering Manager in the Americas Field Sales department.You will be responsible for architecting technical solutions that directly address and resolve critical customer pain points.Overseeing the technical sales processYou are customer-obsessed. You build deep empathy for the customer—both internal and external—and anchor your decisions in solving their real-world problems. You view change as an opportunity and setbacks as temporary. Demonstrated ability to act as a Consultative AI Advisor, guiding customers through AI change management, including mapping manual business workflows to agentic AI systems and managing expectations around non-deterministic outputs

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 5 to 8+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Systems integrator
• Knowledge of network security technologies
• Demonstrate strong AI fluency by leveraging coding assistants, LLMs, and Generative AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting, solution design, automation, and customer problem-solving, while applying sound technical judgment to validate outputs
• Experience working with large enterprise and major accounts#LI-remote
