Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join our Majors Account team. This remote role, based in Missouri, reports to the Sales Engineering Manager in the Americas Field Sales department.

You will architect solutions, oversee the technical sales process, and guide customers through AI-driven change management. With 5–8+ years in sales engineering or systems integration, you will leverage AI tools, engage with large enterprises, and contribute to shaping secure, scalable cloud security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–8+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Systems integrator.
• Knowledge of network security technologies.
• Strong AI fluency using coding assistants, LLMs, and Generative AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting, solution design, automation, and customer problem-solving.
• Experience working with large enterprise and major accounts.

• Customer-obsessed; build deep empathy for the customer—both internal and external—and anchor decisions in solving their real-world problems.
• View change as an opportunity and setbacks as temporary.
• Demonstrate ability to act as a Consultative AI Advisor, guiding customers through AI change management, including mapping manual business workflows to agentic AI systems and managing expectations around non-deterministic outputs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 to 8+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Systems integrator.
• Knowledge of network security technologies.
• Demonstrate strong AI fluency by leveraging coding assistants, LLMs, and Generative AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting, solution design, automation, and customer problem-solving, while applying sound technical judgment to validate outputs.
• Experience working with large enterprise and major accounts.
