The Opportunity
Zaddy Solutions is recruiting a Senior Presales Engineer for an international software company building an enterprise platform for governing and securing AI-agent connections. As companies move AI agents from experimentation into production, they need greater control over how those agents access internal tools, software, and data. This platform provides a centralized gateway for authentication, permissions, policy enforcement, sensitive-data protection, monitoring, and auditability across those connections.
This is a hands-on presales role for someone who can lead customer evaluations, deliver credible demonstrations, manage proofs of concept, and solve technical problems without relying on engineering for every answer.
What You Will Own:
Technical Discovery and Demonstrations
- Lead discovery with AI, engineering, IT, and security stakeholders
- Understand each customer’s AI clients, integrations, identity environment, and governance requirements
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations using the customer’s workflows and technical priorities
- Identify compatibility gaps or technical blockers before evaluations begin
Proofs of Concept and Technical Evaluations
- Partner with Account Executives to scope and structure proofs of concept
- Help customers configure integrations, identities, access policies, and platform settings
- Troubleshoot issues during trials and keep evaluations moving toward a clear technical decision
- Document outcomes, blockers, and next steps for the broader deal team
Security and Architecture Reviews
- Lead security questionnaires, architecture discussions, and vendor due‑diligence reviews
- Explain authentication, authorization, data flow, logging, and access controls to technical and compliance stakeholders
- Work with product, engineering, and legal teams to maintain accurate security documentation
Customer Enablement and Technical Support
- Build and maintain demo environments, reference architectures, technical guides, and solution plans
- Support customer onboarding and expansion alongside Customer Success
- Investigate technical issues by reviewing configurations, logs, documentation, and code
- Use modern AI coding tools to reproduce problems and propose solutions before escalating to engineering
Product Feedback
- Capture feature requests, technical objections, competitive signals, and recurring customer needs
- Work directly with product and engineering to turn field feedback into product improvements
- Improve documentation and troubleshooting resources based on actual customer evaluations
What We Are Looking For:
- At least three years of experience in presales engineering, solutions engineering, sales engineering, solutions architecture, or another customer-facing technical role within B2B software
- A track record of leading technical evaluations and proofs of concept that contributed to closed business
- Experience partnering closely with Account Executives and supporting customers after the sale
- Strong working knowledge of APIs, SaaS integrations, OAuth, SSO, identity providers, authentication, and authorization
- The ability to read technical documentation, troubleshoot integrations, and explain complex systems clearly
- Basic coding or scripting experience, including the ability to investigate and debug issues using modern tools
- Experience supporting enterprise security reviews and discussing frameworks such as SOC 2 or HIPAA
- Hands‑on experience using AI assistants, agents, or AI‑enabled developer tools
- Experience within developer tools, cybersecurity, identity, governance software, or adjacent infrastructure
- The ability to manage multiple technical evaluations across a shared sales pipeline
- Strong communication skills across engineering, security, business, and executive audiences
- Comfort working within an early‑stage product environment where the presales playbook is still being built
- Ability to travel occasionally for customer meetings or industry events
Why This Opportunity Is Different
This is an early technical go-to-market hire for an emerging enterprise AI product. You will have direct access to the people building the platform and meaningful influence over how the company demonstrates, validates, implements, and improves it. The environment combines the autonomy and ownership of a startup with the resources and stability of an established international software company.
