Job Title: Senior Sales Director, France

Location: France - Remote

Your Business Sector: AECO - Architects, Engineers, Construction & Owners

Trimble is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Director who will take ownership of our Go to Market strategy in France. You will be responsible for increasing market share across multiple AECO products, as well as providing leadership and direction to our French sales teams.

In this position, through your leadership and strategic sales development, you will deliver targeted business outcomes, great customer experience, and growth in revenue, consumption and usage for Trimble.

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced senior Sales Leader with experience in the SAAS space and of managing the sale of multiple products. You will be a leader who has grown and developed teams of managers and sellers across France and understands the sales challenges in this territory.

What Will You Do?

As Senior Sales Director, you will deliver the highest value to our customers through the best products and services in our industry across France.

To do this you will lead a segmented sales team focusing across the Enterprise, Mid Market and SMB sectors with the goal of selling the AECO portfolio and delivering the entire construction software value and experience. The objective is to maximise penetration of all Trimble AECO software solutions and maximise share of market.

  • You will hire and develop the first Account management sellers and leaders for AECO

  • You will ensure the sellers are enabled to speak to the entire value of AECO and Trimble portfolio, orchestrating all internal and partner resources to achieve customer success and revenue goals

  • You will bring the divisional teams together as a Solutions team, leveraging their knowledge to support and partner the Account sellers while also bringing in new accounts and growing the current customer base

Location & Travel:

This role is/can be a fully remote position, Trimble has a number of office locations across France but you do not need to be within a commutable distance of them. You WILL need to be comfortable with roughly 50% travel in this role, predominantly across France but you will also travel internationally across EMEA for senior sales team strategy meetings. There is also likely to be travel to the US on a less regular basis.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:

  • Able to execute the go-to-market to achieve specific revenue objectives and develop the long range strategy for your country of business.

  • Work collaboratively with other EMEA AECO Sales leadership to finalize all operating selling motions and aspects of the unified sales organization especially the Account Seller role

  • The ability to deliver business through leading and empowering solution teams

  • Develop leadership roles for key functions in the region, including deep technical and market driven sales expertise (Solution) selling motions

  • Create a team of successful sellers by hiring, developing and training

  • Accurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting to senior sales management

  • Consistent monitoring of the sales activity of the team, and tracking of results

  • Maximize share of wallet, achieve targets and win against competition with flawless execution

  • Establish plans for retention and continuing development of key sales talent resources and ensure sales employees are equipped with the products, systems and selling-skills’ training required to be successful

  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to the senior sales leadership team

  • Able to develop marketing programs with the marketing team that align with overall sales objectives

  • Native Speaker or high Fluency in spoken and written French

  • High Fluency in in spoken and written English
