Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a senior sales leader to drive ARCALYST sales in the Chicago geography. You will define targets, lead regional planning and work with cross-functional teams to translate strategic objectives into action.

Ideal candidates possess 10+ years in pharma/biotech sales with second-line leadership, strong payer and reimbursement knowledge, and a proven track record of exceeding targets. Travel weekly to major accounts is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 10+ years leading pharmaceutical/biotechnology sales teams; 5+ years in second-line leadership role.
  • Cardiology experience strongly preferred.
  • Rare disease experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of specialty pharmacy dynamics (must).
  • Injectables experience strongly desired.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quantitative and qualitative targets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Marketing, Sales Operations, or related support experience (plus).
  • Working knowledge of reimbursement landscape and healthcare trends.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to translate strategy into execution (critical).
  • Understanding of external healthcare laws/codes and company policies (must).

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute sales targets and strategy for ARCALYST in the assigned geography

  • Partner with Regional Sales Directors to build relationships with Thought Leaders and key institutions

  • Track, monitor, and report sales performance and progress
  • Evaluate direct report performance and provide behavior-based feedback
  • Foster collaboration across internal, cross-functional stakeholders
  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and policies governing company activities
  • Travel weekly by air or car (required)
