Job description

Heritage Tree Care is hiring an experienced ISA Certified Arborist for a senior sales and consulting role based in Austin, Texas. Qualified candidates from outside Central Texas are encouraged to apply, and relocation support may be available for the right candidate.

This is not a cold-calling position. The Senior Sales & Consulting Arborist will manage an established portfolio of Heritage Tree Care clients and receive qualified sales opportunities generated by the company. Clients include residential, commercial, municipal, institutional and professional accounts throughout Central Texas.

The position includes arboricultural consulting and work on larger or more complex projects involving municipalities, school districts, contractors, developers, landscape professionals and other project stakeholders. Responsibilities include evaluating tree-care needs, recommending appropriate services, preparing proposals, following up with clients, providing professional arboricultural consulting, managing complex or high-value projects, coordinating with production and office teams, maintaining accurate client and project records, and serving as a technical resource when experienced arboricultural input is needed.

Required qualifications include an ISA Certified Arborist credential, significant professional tree-care experience with strong arboricultural knowledge, experience consulting with clients and estimating and selling tree-care work, professional arboricultural consulting experience, the ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, strong communication and organizational skills, dependable follow-through and a valid driver's license.

The normal schedule is Monday-Friday, approximately 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, with flexibility for client appointments, consulting work and project needs. Sales Arborists should generally remain available by phone through 5:00 PM. This is a field-based, client-facing position serving properties throughout Central Texas.

ISA Certified Arborist credential; significant professional tree-care experience with strong arboricultural knowledge; experience consulting with clients, estimating and selling tree-care work; professional arboricultural consulting experience; ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders; strong communication, organization and follow-through; and a valid driver's license. Preferred experience includes TRAQ or other advanced ISA credentials, commercial or municipal arboriculture, construction or tree preservation, professional-client work, multi-crew tree-care operations, CRM systems, leadership and mentoring.
