Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Compensation Analyst responsible for understanding reports, source documents and calculations related to compensation payouts. Create audit points and controls to ensure accuracy for the team.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of analyst experience in Sales Compensation, Sales Operations or Finance with advanced Excel and SQL/Power BI skills to drive data-driven improvements and SOP development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree.
• 4+ years of analyst experience in Sales Compensation, Sales Operations or Finance.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., AVERAGE, pivot tables).
• SQL and Power BI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build understanding, analyze and evaluate the impact of results within Sales Compensation.
• Train team members to maintain integrity of key source documents and compensation strategy.
• Liaison between Sales Compensation and IS teams to create and audit reporting based on tracking requirements.
• Identify process gaps, explore calculations, and create SOPs for repeatable results.
• Collaborate with analysts and programmers to create documents, flow charts and instructions on systems and pay components.
• Develop new techniques to improve accuracy and time efficiency for analysts.
• Foster cross-training and education across internal and external departments.
• Lead ad-hoc projects to dissect calculations and source documents used in pay calculations.
