Role Description The Senior Sales Application Engineer is a full-time, role based in Warrendale, PA. This role focuses on supporting sales activities by providing technical expertise, product application guidance, and solutions tailored to customer needs in the utility and industrial power sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating customer specifications, preparing technical proposals, coordinating equipment configurations, and assisting in the development of pricing and bid strategies. The role collaborates closely with the sales team, engineering, and product management to respond to inquiries, deliver presentations, and support customer meetings. The Senior Sales Application Engineer also helps resolve technical issues, contributes to product training, and supports long-term customer relationships through clear communication and follow-up.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Sales Engineering and Sales, with experience supporting complex technical solutions for utility or industrial customers.
• Applied knowledge of Electrical Engineering, including power systems, high-voltage equipment, and related standards.
• Exposure to Engineering concepts relevant to power equipment design, installation, or operation.
• Experience providing Technical Support, including diagnosing issues, interpreting specifications, and advising on product applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline; advanced degree or professional certifications are a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC, ANSI).
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects or proposals simultaneously.
