Job summary

Wilbur-Ellis is seeking a Sales Agronomist III to manage existing and attract new customers within the sales territory, offering agronomic guidance and selecting products that meet customer needs.

You will develop profitable customer relationships, lead territory planning, budgeting, forecasting, and coordinate with the sales team to achieve growth and maintain strong product knowledge across crops. Excellent communication and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sales within agronomy or related field.
• Ability to influence sales management and adopt new ideas.
• Deep knowledge of local crops and market practices.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and analytics tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or Agribusiness.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing and attract new customers within the sales territory.
• Assist customers in selecting and using products based on agronomic needs.
• Maintain and develop profitable customer relationships.
• Identify new key customers and drive territory growth.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for the territory.
• Lead the annual business plan to optimize growth and profitability.
• Implement marketing and sales plans; network with industry representatives.
• Be the primary contact for deliveries, forecasting, credit, complaints, and custom applications.
• Lead and mentor team members and provide feedback.
