Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

Your Role Within the Kingdom

Activision Blizzard is scaling its advertising business, Activision Blizzard Media, an embedded business unit of King—the makers of the #1 mobile game, Candy Crush Saga, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard.

ABM is seeking a passionate, innovative, and broad-thinking Senior Sales Account Executive to work on an agency team and help elevate our media offerings.

This role offers an opportunity to share our story in the market and build relationships within the NYC advertising agency landscape. We're looking for an experienced Senior Sales Account Executive with prior experience in Media and/or Ad Technology, especially in generating demand for Digital Media Sales. Experience with Omnicom, Dentsu, or Horizon is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and build relationships with strategic investment partners at agency holding companies and clients.
  • Oversee several high-value partnerships with support from sales management.
  • Ensure mutual success between customers and Activision Blizzard Media, maximizing the potential of each relationship.
  • Manage business and technical escalations, communicating requirements to all stakeholders internally and externally.
Skills to Create Thrills
  • 6+ years of media experience in an ad agency partnership or direct media sales role.
  • Strong relationships across the New York market, especially with Omnicom, Dentsu, or Horizon (preferred but not required).
  • Knowledge of programmatic execution and relevant technologies such as Google Ad Manager, video/mobile media, audience targeting, and the programmatic landscape.
  • Proven experience in sales-focused or partnership roles, especially selling through agencies.
  • Ability to articulate complex requirements clearly to achieve results.
  • Comfort in building and managing relationships with diverse business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams.
  • Track record of exceeding client and revenue expectations.

The U.S. base pay range for this role is $87,480 - $161,910 annually, depending on experience, performance, and location. Compensation is negotiable and may include incentive pay, which is not guaranteed.
