Your Role Within the Kingdom

Activision Blizzard is scaling its advertising business, Activision Blizzard Media, an embedded business unit of King—the makers of Candy Crush Saga, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard.

ABM is seeking a passionate, innovative, and broad-thinking Senior Sales Account Executive to work on an agency team and help elevate our media offerings.

This role offers an opportunity to share our story in the market and build relationships within the NYC advertising agency landscape. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Sales Account Executive with background in Media and/or Ad Technology, especially in Digital Media Sales. Experience with agencies like Omnicom, Dentsu, or Horizon is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and build relationships with strategic investment partners at agency holding companies and clients.
• Oversee existing high-value partnerships with support from sales management.
• Ensure mutual success between customers and Activision Blizzard Media, maximizing relationship potential.
• Manage escalations and communicate requirements across stakeholders internally and externally.

Skills To Create Thrills

• 6+ years of media experience in ad agency partnerships or direct media sales.
• Strong relationships within the New York market, especially with Omnicom, Dentsu, or Horizon (preferred).
• Knowledge of programmatic execution and related technology (Google Ad Manager, video/mobile media, audience targeting).
• Experience selling through agencies in sales or partnership roles.
• Ability to articulate complex requirements clearly.
• Skilled in building and managing relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with cross-functional teamwork experience.
• Proven track record of exceeding client and revenue expectations.
