Job summary

Cognizant in Juneau, Alaska is seeking a Senior SailPoint Developer with deep expertise in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and SailPoint IdentityIQ to design, implement, and optimize IAM capabilities across the enterprise. You will build workflows, integrate with AD/LDAP, and implement RBAC controls, collaborating with security and IAM teams to deliver secure, scalable identity solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on SailPoint IdentityIQ implementation, customization, integration, and administration.
• Strong expertise in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), IAM concepts, and identity lifecycle management.
• Experience with provisioning, de-provisioning, access certifications, entitlement management, and role management.
• Knowledge of SAML, SCIM, OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), RBAC, SSO, MFA, and related identity security concepts.
• Hands-on Experience integrating SailPoint with AD, LDAP, databases, web apps, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Strong development using Java, Beanshell, REST APIs, web services, and SailPoint customization frameworks.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or others for automation.
• Awareness of audit, governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements related to identity management.
• Experience planning SailPoint upgrades, migrations, and platform enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and support SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions and lifecycle management.
• Gather requirements and translate them into SailPoint workflows, processes, rules, and solutions.
• Configure SailPoint components including workflows, events, access requests, certifications, and policies.
• Integrate SailPoint with AD, LDAP, databases, web apps, cloud platforms, and other targets via connectors and APIs.
• Manage user identities, roles, entitlements, provisioning and de-provisioning throughout the lifecycle.
• Implement and optimize RBAC, access certifications, SoD, and governance controls.
• Support platform upgrades, patches, enhancements, disaster recovery, and maintenance.
• Develop automation scripts and custom components using Java, Beanshell, PowerShell, Python, and SailPoint frameworks.
• Support audit, compliance, governance initiatives through reporting and evidence gathering.
• Maintain technical docs, guides, diagrams, and support materials.
