Job summary

ASR International Corporation is seeking a Safety Specialist or Senior Safety Specialist to perform safety oversight for multiple job sites in accordance with EM 385-1-1 and Area/Resident Office Safety Plans for USACE Northwestern Division construction projects. The role involves daily site safety assessments, reviewing contractor safety plans, and reporting incidents.

Candidates should have OSHA 30-hour training and extensive experience in safety within federal construction settings.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30-hour (or equivalent) with 24 hours of training every three years.
• Senior Safety Specialist: minimum ten (10) years of cumulative safety experience.
• Safety Specialist: minimum three (3) years of cumulative safety experience.
• Knowledge of EM 385-1-1 required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily site safety assessments and activity-specific training.
• Review and assess contractor Accident Prevention Plans (APP) and AHAs.
• Prepare ENG Form 3394 for mishaps and report imminent dangers immediately.
• Attend preparatory meetings and update Safety Plans as requested.
