Job summary

Meow Wolf in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Safety & Security Manager to lead security staffing and operations for the exhibition. You will collaborate with the GM and risk management to ensure top guest safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires directing security activities, overseeing vendors, and maintaining budgets while promoting a culture of safety and exceptional guest service. Experience in hospitality security is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within safety & security.
• Demonstrated work experience as Safety & Security Manager or Supervisor.
• OSHA 30 - General Industry Certification.
• Established history of creating safety policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Loss Prevention programming experience.
• Proficiency in English, verbal and writing.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Customer service driven with outstanding communication and active listening skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Previous experience in budget development and adherence.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, coordinate security activities to safeguard assets, employees, guests, and visitors.
• Oversee contracted security services, conduct audits and enforce safety protocols.
• Manage vendor relationships and track KPIs to ensure contract security teams meet standards.
• Manage scheduling for all full-time and part-time Security Officers.
• Stay within budget and justify over-budget spending when needed.
• Enhance employee and guest safety through operational procedures.
• Assure guest satisfaction through delivery of excellent customer service.
• Conduct safety & security training for employees and managers as needed.
• Prepare management reports on security trends and incidents.
