Job summary

Meow Wolf in Santa Fe, NM seeks a Security Officer to patrol inside and outside the exhibit, protect people and property, and handle emergency responses. You will prepare incident and daily reports, enforce policies, and assist guests and staff with a courteous, professional approach.

This role supports visitor safety and facility security in a dynamic, entertainment setting. Ideal candidates have 1+ year in security, strong English communication, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Security.
• Proficiency in English, verbal, and writing.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Customer service driven with outstanding communication and active listening skills.
• Must have previous computer experience and write incident reports.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete all daily reports, incident reports, supplemental reports, and other written, electronic documents pertinent to day-to-day activities.
• Monitors, enforces, and reports violations of company rules, policies, and laws.
• Monitor and control guests entering and exiting the venue.
• Interact with guests and employees professionally and engage with local law enforcement as required.
• Respond to reports of injury or illness and provide First Aid, CPR, and AED as needed.
• Respond to emergencies including safety hazards, fires, medical issues, and threats to life or property.
• Direct evacuations during emergencies and assist guests as needed.
• Escort security vendors and/or employees with money pick up and drop offs.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the venue.
