Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. in Tysons, VA is seeking a Safety Professional to oversee Construction Safety, Health and Risk Management, develop site-specific safety plans, and collaborate with Project Management on ORM processes.

Travel up to 20% is required. You will lead the Operational Risk Management team, develop accident prevention programs, ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EM-385, and support training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; entry-level acceptable.
• Experience with S&H training and regulatory compliance (1910, 1926, EM-385 1-1).
• Safety Management Systems knowledge and experience.
• ANSI-Z10, OHSAS 18001, ISO 3100 familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with GC/owner on site conditions and NCN.
• Advise on project-specific mitigation plans and S&H training programs.
• Develop Site Specific Accident Prevention Programs and training plans.
• Manage site safety budgets and permits, ensure contract compliance.
• Lead ORM team in safety plan reviews and incident reporting.
