Job summary

LSB Industries, Inc. is seeking a Safety, Process Safety and Security Leader to guide the Pryor, OK site in managing H&S, PSM, and security programs for a chemical manufacturing facility.

The role emphasizes risk reduction, leadership of a small team, and collaboration with corporate EHS/PSM to standardize best practices. You will drive OSHA program execution, incident investigations, training, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with operations and maintenance to ensure safe production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, Risk Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of Health and Safety experience in chemical or petrochemical, manufacturing, or related field. Process Safety experience is required.
• Certified Safety Professional or Associate Safety Professional
• Leadership experience in safety management.
• Experience working with government/regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with laws and standards.
• Participation in Process Hazard Analysis
• Proficient in RCA methodology.
• Able to pass annual physicals and respirator fit tests.

Responsibilities

• Achieve a detailed understanding of H&S and PSM risks and controls at the facility.
• Develop and align short- and long-term Safety, PSM and Security objectives and measures.
• Execute annual H&S and PSM plan with measurable results.
• Lead a team including Safety Specialist, PSM Engineer, admin assistant, and Security Leader.
• Ensure OSHA programs are active and effective at operator and maintenance levels.
• Lead health, safety and security efforts for Pryor, OK site.
• Coordinate with Corporate EHS/PSM and other sites for best practices.
• Oversee DOT compliance programs for highway and rail transport.
• Coordinate training content and records management for Safety and PSM.
• Lead Root Cause Investigations and drive timely corrective actions.
• Work with HR on Medical Records and investigations.
• Drive a robust PSM program with documentation and inspections.
• Manage capital/expense projects with safety emphasis.
• Engage in self-assessments and closure of actions from audits.
