Job summary

LSB Industries, Inc. is seeking a Safety, Process Safety and Security Leader for its Pryor, OK facility to lead and optimize safety, process safety, and security programs.

The role focuses on risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and driving a culture of safety across operations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Engineering/Safety, 10+ years in H&S within chemical manufacturing, and a CSP/ASP certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, Risk Management or related field.
• 10+ years of Health and Safety experience in chemical/petrochemical manufacturing.
• Process Safety experience required.
• Certified Safety Professional or Associate Safety Professional.
• Leadership experience in safety management.
• Experience with government regulatory agencies for compliance.
• Participation in Process Hazard Analysis.
• Proficient with MS Office and Loss Prevention Software.
• Experience with RCA methodology.
• Pass annual physicals and respirator fit tests.

Responsibilities

• Understand H&S and PSM risks and controls at the Pryor facility.
• Develop and drive short/long-term Safety, PSM and Security objectives.
• Lead a team and manage safety programs and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee site Security Program and contract security team.
• Coordinate DOT compliance programs for highway and rail transport.
• Lead safety training and ensure proper records management.
• Investigate H&S/PSM incidents and follow up with corrective actions.
• Collaborate with HR on medical records management.
