Job summary

Syner-G is seeking a Sr. Project Coordinator to provide advanced organizational, administrative, and field-level support for construction and maintenance projects with a strong emphasis on health and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years in a project coordinator or similar role.
• Experience in construction-related environment preferred.
• Knowledge of safety principles, regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to identify safety exposures and implement corrective actions.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with PM or safety software.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day coordination support to the safety team on construction and maintenance projects.
• Assist Capital Project Management and Facilities Project Management with safety tasks during construction.
• Lead pre-construction planning meetings and distribute materials.
• Maintain schedules, trackers, logs, and documentation for safety activities.
• Review Job Hazard Analyses, Site-Specific Safety Plans, and related programs.
• Participate in site walks to document observations and track corrective actions.
• Compile, analyze, and report safety metrics to identify trends.
• Assist with incident investigations and draft client reports.
• Support inspections and meetings with governing entities or insurers.
• Ensure documentation aligns with SOPs, MOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate follow-up actions to close hazards with contractors and teams.
• Build relationships to support communication and alignment.
• Provide training logistics and documentation distribution.
• Coordinate actions across multiple projects and workstreams.
• Review as-built documentation to identify relevant data for stakeholders.
• Assist with contracting, PO, onboarding, and project controls activities.
• Identify opportunities to leverage digital tools, AI, and automation.
