Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. is seeking a Senior Manager of Safety to oversee the health and safety policies company-wide.

This remote role requires leadership to drive safety programs, on-site evaluations, and training across our offices and field operations. The position partners with the Director of Safety & Compliance to enhance safety performance, maintain regulatory alignment, and promote a strong safety culture throughout Bowman.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience providing services that support construction, mining, energy, and transmission pipeline industries.
• Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA and DOT regulations.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft suite.
• Ability to travel throughout the United States and be on call 24/7 for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction; manage people and processes to ensure execution and quality. Review staff work for QA.
• Oversee day-to-day safety operations with on-site evaluations and safety coaching.
• Develop and implement safety policies in line with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure safe activities and regulatory compliance.
• Assist Safety Director in developing training programs and best operating procedures.
