Job summary

HazTek Safety Management is seeking an experienced Safety Manager in Graham, TX to oversee safety operations on a data center construction project. This role focuses on ensuring OSHA compliance and promoting best safety practices so every worker goes home safely.

Responsibilities include daily safety meetings, incident reporting and investigations, regular safety audits, and oversight of subcontractors. Safety elements such as fall protection, scaffolding, steel erection and excavation are key

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years direct construction safety with experience on a data center and/or mission critical build required.
• Owner's Representative experience highly preferred
• Degree in a safety related field preferred
• OSHA 510 and/or 500 a plus
• Advanced knowledge of construction safety standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance
• Conduct daily safety meetings
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
• Daily safety audits and inspections
• Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
• Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation
