Job summary

Allegiance Group is seeking a Safety Manager to drive a proactive safety culture across multiple active construction projects in Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia. The role focuses on OSHA compliance, safety programs, and training for employees and subcontractors.

You'll lead inspections, develop procedures, conduct toolbox talks, and investigate incidents, while coordinating with Superintendents and Project Managers to address risks and maintain thorough safety documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction safety experience.
• Experience in concrete/commercial/heavy civil construction preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Experience conducting site inspections, incident investigations and safety training.
• OSHA 30 required; CHST/CSP or equivalent certifications desirable.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections and audits.
• Develop, implement and maintain company safety programs and procedures.
• Lead site safety orientations and toolbox talks.
• Investigate incidents, near misses and safety concerns, identifying corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
• Work with Superintendents and Project Managers to address safety risks.
• Maintain safety documentation, reports and training records.
• Promote a positive safety culture across all projects.
