Charleston, SC Area (Travel Throughout the Eastern U.S.)

$120,000+ Base Salary + Bonus + Vehicle Allowance

Are you an experienced safety leader with a strong electrical construction background? We are seeking a Senior Safety Manager to help lead and expand a growing safety organization during a pivotal period of growth and leadership development. This is not a desk-only safety role. We are looking for a field-first leader who understands electrical construction operations, builds credibility with field teams, and proactively drives a strong safety culture across complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct project site audits and safety inspections
• Support field teams with hazard identification and risk mitigation
• Participate in project planning and high-risk activity reviews
• Coach superintendents, foremen, and crews on safe work practices
• Support government and military project safety requirements
• Develop and review Site‑Specific Safety Plans (SSPs)
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions
• Partner closely with operations teams to ensure safe project execution
• Help shape and grow the future of the organization’s safety program

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical construction experience
• 5+ years of safety leadership and/or field leadership experienceCommercial or industrial electrical construction background
• Strong OSHA and NFPA 70E knowledge
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
• Proven ability to influence field operations and drive safety performance
• Airfield lighting experience
• Army Corps of Engineers or NAVFAC project experience
