HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to drive safety performance across assigned business units and projects. You will mentor safety staff, conduct site inspections, and lead incident investigations to uphold HITT's safety culture.

The role requires a Bachelor's in safety or related field, CHST/CSP, and OSHA 30, with 5+ years of construction safety experience. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success on complex projects in Virginia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety or related field preferred.
• CHST or CSP certification desired.
• OSHA 30 Hour for construction required; OSHA 500 preferred.
• Experience with safety programs and incident investigations.

Responsabilités

• Manage direct report workloads and staffing according to project volume.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide development feedback.
• Lead on-site safety inspections and incident investigations.
• Develop and deliver toolbox talks and safety trainings.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and client requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors on safety initiatives.

Formation

OSHA 30 Hour for construction

First Aid/CPR certification
