Job summary

Aldridge Electric is seeking a Senior Safety Manager (Mission Critical) to lead the HSE program for the Mission Critical division in Atlanta, GA. You will drive high-level risk mitigation, oversee field safety teams, and ensure operations align with corporate and client safety standards.

The role requires 7–10 years in construction safety with 3–5 years in leadership, a recognized safety certificate, and travel to multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Occupational Safety and Health discipline (e.g. OS&H Management, Human Factors, Construction)
• 7-10 years direct experience in Construction Safety and Occupational Health, with 3-5 years in a leadership role overseeing other safety professionals
• Must hold a Professional Certificate (e.g., CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST, or CUSP)
• Knowledge of ANSI, EPA, OSHA Standards and ability to identify exposures and recommend corrective actions
• Deep expertise in foundation work, power infrastructure, and heavy civil construction
• Willing and able to travel to multiple job sites
• Strong communication and leadership to promote safety programs to field personnel
• Proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace
• Autonomy and collaborative team work

Responsibilities

• Champion the organization’s IIF Culture and focus efforts on improving defenses to control exposure and integrate human performance principles
• Provide safety expertise, ensuring relevant internal and external safety practices are used in delivering work
• Act as a liaison with Regional Safety Manager and Division Leadership to ensure resources and personnel are available
• Coach safety professionals, field, project, and office staff on company, owner, and government standards
• Participate in, facilitate and review incident investigations and verify timely corrective actions
• Conduct periodic site visits to monitor the Safety Management System
• Partner with operations and Talent Management to ensure safety training based on hazards
• Collaborate with Regional Safety Manager to review subcontractor Safety Programs
• Conduct safety orientations for core, division-specific, and subcontractor teams
• Assist safety professionals in preparation for monthly CVIS meetings
• Travel to multiple projects to provide support to Operations
• Host regular performance conversations with direct reports
