Job summary

Synerfac Technical Staffing is seeking a Division Safety Director - Construction in Sterling, VA. The role oversees all safety aspects across the division, promoting a world‑class safety culture and implementing policies to minimize risk and incidents.

You will work with division and field leadership and the safety team to ensure policies are applied at all sites, lead investigations, and drive continuous improvement in safety performance across operations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental safety, or related field.
• Advanced degree preferred for leadership roles within safety management.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA, MSHA and local regulatory standards.
• Experience managing safety programs across large construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety program management across multiple job sites.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to measure safety performance.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Collaborate with HR, risk, and insurance teams on safety issues.
• Lead workers’ compensation and insurance efforts at the division level.
• Develop safety policies, training programs, and records.
