Qualifications

  • Equivalent experience in warehouse safety operations and/or recognized safety certifications (OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO 14001/45001) will be considered.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills with ability to influence and train others.
  • Experience with risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
  • Proficiency in HSE reporting systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily HSE activities across all operational areas, including site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations, company standards, and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure readiness for incidents or accidents.
  • Lead and support incident and accident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain and update HSE documentation, including policies and permits.
  • Supervise the delivery of HSE training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and project teams to integrate HSE into planning and execution.
  • Monitor environmental compliance related to emissions, waste management, and spill control.
  • Prepare regular reports and metrics on HSE performance for senior management review.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety culture.

Salary: 75,000.00 - 80,000.00 USD / YEAR

SENIOR SAFETY/HSE SUPERVISOR
Normal Hours
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM , with a 1-hour lunch break.
  • Flexibility will be required to suit the needs of the business.
  • The postholder may be required to travel for the satisfactory performance of their duties and responsibilities.
Reporting Structure
  • HSE Manager
  • Regional HSE Manager
  • Senior Operations Manager
Work Location
  • Houston, North Beltway will be main area but travel between all Houton sites will be required.
Purpose of the Role

The HSE Senior Supervisor is responsible for supervising the implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs within oil and gas operations.

This role ensures regulatory compliance, supports risk mitigation, leads incident investigations, and promotes a strong safety culture across sites and departments.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science , or a related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent experience in warehouse safety operations and/or recognized safety certifications, such as OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 , will also be considered.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and train others.
  • Experience with risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
  • Proficiency in HSE reporting systems and Microsoft Office Suite .
Preferred Skills
  • NEBOSH, IOSH , or equivalent certification.
  • Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and safety management systems.
  • Experience coordinating emergency response activities.
  • Knowledge of environmental impact management and sustainability practices.
  • Experience working with multicultural teams in high-risk environments.
