Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 6-8 years of NA agency approvals (UL, CSA) and regulatory compliance (CFR, OSHA).
• Experience in new product development for consumer products or quality engineering.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Aufgaben

• Analyze new product designs for user hazards and risk, and develop hazard mitigation requirements.
• Document safety requirements in Product Safety Review and maintain throughout development.
• Communicate safety requirements to project teams via meetings, calls, and emails.
• Review test reports to confirm safety qualification requirements are met.
• Provide safety input and warnings for user manuals and labeling.
