Job summary

Day & Zimmermann Maintenance and Construction (DZMC) in Killona, LA is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the EH&S program on-site. You will develop and supervise field EH&S teams, build strong relationships with operations and customers, and drive continuous improvement in safety processes and IT systems.

The role requires 8+ years in EH&S, strong knowledge of OSHA laws, and certifications such as CHST/OHST; CSP or equivalent. Solar experience is a plus, and relocation/travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading EH&S programs in similar industries.
• Certifications such as CHST/OHST; CSP or ASP in progress desirable.
• Experience with solar projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop field EH&S teams on site.
• Build internal/external relationships to support initiatives.
• Develop and execute world-class safety programs and metrics.
• Ensure compliance with DZMC processes, regs, and best practices.
• Provide EH&S training at jobsites and corporate locations.
