Job summary

DZMC seeks an experienced Safety Manager to lead EHS on a large-scale data center construction project in West Virginia. This on-site role drives safety culture, oversees field EHS personnel, and ensures adherence to DZMC and OSHA standards across all activities through 2027.

You will partner with project leadership to implement programs, conduct risk assessments, and manage high-risk tasks such as electrical work, energization, and lifting. A strong background in data center safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive EHS experience on large, complex construction projects.
• Data center/mission-critical construction experience.
• Industry-recognized EHS certification such as CHST, ASP, SMP or CSP.
• Experience leading or overseeing EHS professionals and subcontractor safety teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop field EHS personnel on a large-scale data center project.
• Establish safety culture across project teams, subcontractors, and crafts.
• Develop and execute project-specific safety programs and metrics.
• Ensure compliance with DZMC, customer, OSHA, and applicable regulations.
• Provide field oversight of high-risk construction activities like electrical work and lifting.
