Job summary

DP Electric is seeking a Safety Coordinator III to lead complex safety audits, investigations, and risk assessments across large, high-risk projects. You will mentor junior safety staff, develop training materials, and ensure staff are trained on safety protocols.

The role focuses on diagnosing hazards, guiding adherence to OSHA guidelines, and maintaining detailed safety documentation. Field-based on active construction sites with physical demands and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• 3–4 years of safety-related experience.
• OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, and First Aid/CPR certification.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex safety audits and inspections on larger and higher-risk projects.
• Lead investigation of complex incidents, accidents, and near-misses, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Run risk assessments on work areas and present findings and reports to safety management.
• Draft and update safety training materials and train staff on safety protocols.
• Monitor compliance with applicable regulations and develop safety programs.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training, and incident documentation.
• Participate in safety meetings and committees.
